You’ve already passed an undergraduate degree, but have a driving passion to understand human behaviour at a deeper level. Our Graduate Diploma of Psychological Science gives you deep insight into why we think and act the way we do.
You will build a strong foundation in critical and analytical thinking and develop your skills to successfully design, construct and evaluate research, allowing you to uncover the nuances of human behaviour.
This course is accredited without conditions by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) in Sydney and Melbourne, and is conditionally accredited in Brisbane.

Opportunities include working in health and social welfare, social or market research, human services, mental health, disability and ageing services, juvenile justice, immigration and refugee support services, community based, government and non-government organizations, hospitals, rehabilitation agencies, substance abuse services, youth services, police force, law courts, prisons and counselling services.
Further study
Graduates are eligible for direct entry into the Master of Social Work (Qualifying) and may be eligible for ACAP’s Bachelor of Psychological Science (honors), or graduate-entry degrees in areas such as health sciences, community services, business and accounting and policy

Meet the following criteria:
International student IELTS requirement: Academic IELTS minimum overall band of 6.5 with no individual band below 6.0 completed in the last two years (or equivalent).
Overseas qualifications must be deemed by the Qualifications Recognition Policy Unit to be equivalent to Australian qualifications in order to be considered by ACAP.
