Unique Course Options

You can broaden your clinic options by completing a double HLT52415 Diploma in Kinesiology and/or 10687NAT Diploma of Sports Therapy Kinesiology. A majority of our students complete the extra 25% of course work and gain an additional cutting edge qualification. Mind Body Medicine also provides a pathway into our flagship course the Advanced Diploma in Integrative Complementary Medicine that articulates into various degree programs including Acupuncture and Naturopathy.

Our 10594NAT Diploma of Mind Body Medicine program covers:

• Body psychology – this is our comprehensive system for unpacking the meaning of specific symptoms, patterns of behaviour and how they impact the physical body.
• Facilitating change – helping clients uncover the deep seated motivations behind the lifestyle patterns that are affecting their health and wellness. This unit integrates a very powerful counselling approach with body work, and acupressure for resolving these patterns.
• Kinesiology – we use kinesiology to help connect mind and body.
• Chinese Medicine theory – forms an important part of the intellectual base for mind body medicine. Learn Chinese diagnostic methods, the 5 elements and Ba Gua constitutions, the deep flows of the meridians, points for improving many different conditions and unique methods for balancing meridians.
• Structural kinesiology – we believe its important to be good at improving posture and pain and put an emphasis on students being able to work effectively on a person’s physical body. Our course includes balances for facial trains, cranial, jaw, pelvis, neck, and the 7 primary movements.
