Summary

The Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management is a nationally
accredited course of the Rural Production Training Package. The course
provides practical training in farming, related technologies as well as
agricultural business studies. There is a particular focus on broadacre
cropping and animal production within the course.
An integral component of the course is an 8 week period of industry
placement where students are able to focus on a particular career
direction in their chosen agricultural sector. Students are able to identify
potential employers, develop and implement a range of skills and gain a
good understanding of how to become a valuable contributor to a farming
or agribusiness enterprise.
Whilst the Advanced Diploma of Agribusiness Management is a one year
stand-alone qualification, students are encouraged to first enrol in the
Certificate III & Certificate IV in Agriculture one year course, depending on
your previous experience and qualifications.
