Learn to be a dynamic, creative entrepreneur capable of transforming a concept into a viable business. Learn about the commercial aspects of generating employment and avoiding business failure.

Topics include the entrepreneurial mindset, design thinking, finance for start-ups, technology entrepreneurship, market research and the customer journey. You’ll also learn how to develop your presentation skills and will experience what it’s like to pitch ideas to real investors.

Entry criteria

Applicants with Recent Secondary Education (within the past two years)

Secondary Education Applicants must have completed an Australian Senior Secondary Certificate (Year 12) equivalent qualification within the last two years.

Applicants with Vocational Education & Training (VET) Study

To gain entry to the Bachelor of Business, VET Applicants must have completed a relevant VET qualification at Certificate IV level or higher within the last five years. All applicants must present evidence of their VET qualification(s) and academic results.

Applicants with Higher Education Study

To gain entry to the Bachelor of Business, Higher Education Applicants must have undertaken a relevant tertiary qualification within the last five years. All Higher Education Applicants must present evidence of their qualification(s) and academic results.

English Language requirements

  • IELTS Band Score: 6.0 (no band less than 5.5)
  • Cambridge CAE Range: 52-57
  • Pearson Academic Range: 48-52
  • TOEFL IBT Range: 60-78
