This will be conducted in an actual operational child care facility so that you will be able to interact with skilled staff and children. This interaction will provide you with a greater depth of understanding and knowledge of how the facility operates. Entry criteria

There are no formal entry requirements set by the Training Package for this course however for admission Yorke requires the following evidence:

18 years old and above

have a current Working with Children Check or apply and receive one within term 1 of the course (work placement begins in term 2)

International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5

Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English) 162

Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 42

Occupational English Test B for each test component
