Summary

During your 18-24 month study program, Specialist Nursing practitioners will closely guide you through 4 key learning components (25 study units) of engaging and innovative practical classroom activities. Together with 400 hours of professional clinical placement (Acute/Sub Acute, Aged Care, Mental Health) - our student associates are then prepared for registration as Enrolled Nurses with the Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). You will develop an appreciation for evidence-based nursing practice and will strengthen your clinical decision-making and reflective skills and caring behaviours. STA Diploma of Nursing graduates not only achieve a qualification, but develop skills that are both highly transferable, and in demand - across Australia and globally.

Entry criteria

International applicants must be 18 years or older

IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 with no band score less than 7.0 (or equivalent)

The IELTS test results can be from:

In one test sitting; or

A maximum of two test sittings within a six-month period only if:

  • Applicants achieved a minimum overall IELTS (academic) score of 7.0 in each sitting; and
  • Applicants achieved a minimum IELTS (Academic) score of 7.0 in each component across two test sittings; and
  • No band score less than 6.5 (or equivalent)
