Summary
Evidence-based clinical nutrition is underpinned by the holistic understanding of nutritional principles, food as medicine traditions, therapeutics and nutritional biochemistry. Clinical Nutrition Practitioners understand and address the nutritional, dietary and lifestyle factors which impact wellbeing throughout the lifespan, during illness and disease. This is achieved through personalized nutrition education and the development of a treatment and prevention plan which includes therapeutic meal planning, nutritional supplementation and prescription.
Blended course delivery including face to face and flexible online study options (some coursework must be completed face to face to meet industry requirements).
In this course you will study how nutritional, dietary and lifestyle factors can impact our health, and how therapeutic nutritional intervention can achieve wellbeing. You will gain hands-on experience at the Wellbeing Centre under the guidance of experienced nutritionists, treating public patients.
