The Certificate IV in Massage Therapy is the national qualification that allows you to work as a professional massage therapist in Australia.

It will provide you with practical skills in relaxation and therapeutic massage, basic health and postural assessment as well as experiencing a real-world massage clinic.

Job Outcomes

The program outcomes for this course are:

Workers qualified at a Certificate IV level are qualified massage therapists who provide general health maintenance treatments. It does not reflect the role of a remedial massage therapist. Practitioners may be self-employed or work within a larger health service.
A study pathway to the Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Preparation for further study and vocational skills with development of study and research skills, language and literacy skills, communication skills, time management, planning and managing projects, interpersonal skills and the development of techniques.
