The Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching is your first step into teaching yoga. This national qualification allows you to be a ‘yoga teacher’. You will learn to plan, organize and conduct yoga classes to groups of clients.

The program outcomes for this course are:
- At this level, yoga teachers will be equipped with the essential components to understand the yoga asanas (physical postures of yoga), differences in yoga styles, anatomy, ethics, philosophy of yoga teaching and risks associated with opening a yoga business. After attainment graduates of the Certificate IV Qualification can register as a Level 2 (intermediate level) accredited teacher with Yoga Australia or the International Yoga Teachers Association.

Entry criteria
Entrants must have:
Successfully completed the Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) online test. Please note that if you are applying for more than one course with us, you will only need to complete the LLN online test once.
Sufficient level of English proficiency in order to interact with and document client interactions, interpret documents, learner guides and assessment tools, prepare written reports and plans.
Completed Upper intermediate level
The course is aimed at students 18 years of age and over
IELTS - 5.5 (with no individual band under 5.0); TOEFL Internet Based - 46; Cambridge English - CAE 162; PTE Academic - 42; OET - B.
