Summary
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialized knowledge and skills, together with experience in program management across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
It applies to individuals who are program managers, managing or directing a suite of projects (a program) to achieve organizational objectives.
This course is suitable for those who wish to perform duties such as:
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgment to direct, plan, and lead a range of program functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyze and synthesize information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
Course Structure and Mode of Delivery
There 12 units of competency in this qualification. This will be delivered over a period 52 weeks with 16 weeks of holidays, consisting of 13.5 hours per week of classroom based face-to-face learning and 6.5 hours of online learning delivered through SMC e-learning platform based on Moodle i.e., total of 20 hours per week.

Pathways from the BSB61218 Advanced Diploma of Program Management:
After achieving the BSB61218 Advanced Diploma of Program Management, candidates may undertake a range of Project Management qualifications at higher education level.
