Level of study: Career Based/Vocational

The Diploma of Purna Yoga Management goes way beyond the standard Level 1 and Level 2 trainings and a prerequisite is the 800 hour Certificate IV qualification. Although the Diploma includes the advanced yoga teaching skills it is so much more – hence its name is the Diploma of Purna Yoga Management.

This training will build on the Certificate IV in Yoga Teaching. A key aspect of the course is the in-depth study of Ayurveda - the sister science of yoga. You will learn to make client assessments and to tender lifestyle advice, effectively positioning you as an Ayurvedic consultant.

You will also gain the skills and knowledge to manage a small business such as a yoga studio or health centre. Plus this course will deepen your own yoga practice and further your personal growth.

There will be 40 teaching weeks and 12 weeks holidays per year and these dates will be advised after enrolment. During term times students are required to attend sessions for two days each week. Training will consist of fifteen hours of face to face lectures and practical, and five hours of assignments per week.
