The target market for this program includes international learners over the age of 18 wanting to further their education in the marketing industry. Students may have little or no experience in the marketing industry and it is not a requirement for entry into the program. Entry criteria

Pathways into the qualification:

  • BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication or
  • BSB52415 Diploma of Marketing and Communication followed by BSB61315 Advanced Diploma of Marketing and Communication (it is also possible to progress to the BSB61315 by undertaking only the core units from the BSB52415 however most students would undertake these as part of the full qualification).

This course is available to students who are able to provide evidence that they:

  • have completed Australian Year 11 or equivalent
  • Are at least at age of 18 on the date of course commencement
  • have the required level of Language, Learning and Numeracy skills required by the course determined completing a Leeds College Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) assessment conducted by a Leeds College Trainer/Assessor which includes a written test and interview to complete the verbal component of the test.
  • meet ONE of the following English proficiency requirements of this course

Evidence of holding any of the following English language test scores within the last 3 years?

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) 5.5
  • TOEFL internet-based test 46
  • Cambridge English: Advanced (Certificate in Advanced English) 162
  • Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) 42
  • Occupation English Test B for each test component

OR

Be able to provide any of the following evidence of English Language competence?

  • that they were educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country
  • successful completion of at least General English Upper Intermediate or English for Academic Purposes Upper Intermediate level
