Combine complementary commerce and arts majors in Deakin's Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts to create a unique qualification built for your career.
Learn to think more critically as you develop a strong foundation in all aspects of commerce. You will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work on real commercial projects through work placements domestically or internationally. At the same time, you can follow your passions into an arts major while building transferable skills that perfectly complement your commerce expertise.
Course structure:
To qualify for the award of Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Arts, students must complete 32 credit points plus the compulsory 0-credit point module, MAI010 Academic Integrity Module.
Compulsory 0-credit point unit:-
To be completed in the first trimester of study.
MAI010 Academic Integrity Module
16 credit points of Commerce coded units:-
8 credit points of core units (MAA103, MAE101, MAF101, MIS171, MLC101, MMK101, MMM132 and MWL101).
one major sequence of 8 credit points must be included.
A minimum of 4 credit points at level 3 of Commerce coded units
16 credit points of Arts coded units:-
two major sequences of at least 8 credit points each. Majors must comprise 2 credit points at level 1 and a minimum of 2 credit points at level 3 (unless otherwise stated)
Or;
One major of at least 8 credit points and one minor of at least 4 credit points consisting of units and level combinations as specified within the selected minor
And;
A minimum of 4 credit points at level 3 of Arts coded units
A maximum of 6 credit points at level 1 of Arts coded units
