This Master of Business Administration (Executive)/Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation (MEI) course focuses on leadership and change, strategic thinking, innovation and entrepreneurship, finance and ethical practices and social responsibility to equip graduates for career satisfaction and success. The course aims to educate and develop entrepreneurial leaders and managers, providing them with the specialist skills needed to lead and manage the process of innovation, business start-ups, high growth and rapid change. This course will allow students to transition to the C-suite, senior managerial positions or to manage a start-up.
This course is for working professionals. That’s why we offer it in Intensive Mode. It’s an efficient and faster way to complete a postgraduate qualification with minimal impact on your professional and personal life. Units (subjects) are either delivered after work hours or on Fridays or Saturdays, and run throughout the year in six week teaching periods instead of the usual 12 week semesters. This means you can complete more units and graduate faster, or take breaks when you need to.

Aims and objectives
At completion of the Master of Business Administration (Executive), graduates will be able to:
apply coherent and advanced knowledge of business concepts in diverse contexts and applications using critical thinking
apply problem solving, design and decision-making methodologies to identify and provide innovative solutions to complex problems with intellectual independence
communicate proficiently in professional practice to a variety of audiences, function as an effective member or leader of a diverse team, and use advanced tools and practices of business within project work
demonstrate professionalism, integrity, ethical conduct, professional accountability and a deep awareness of professional practices in a global and sustainable context
apply business fundamentals to the analysis, design and operation of a business model using appropriate business methods and tools, applied in a variety of contexts
apply knowledge of research principles and methods to plan and execute a piece of research with some independence as preparation for research higher degrees
reflect on and take responsibility for their own learning and self-management processes, and manage their own time and processes effectively by regularly reviewing performance as a means of managing continuing professional development and lifelong learning.

English language requirements
Satisfactory completion of one of the following:
Swinburne’s English for Academic Purposes (EAP 5 Advanced level) with overall 70%, all skills 65%
minimum IELTS overall band of 6.5 (Academic Module) with no individual band below 6.0
TOEFL iBT (internet-based) minimum score of 79 with a reading band no less than 18 and writing band no less than 20
C1 Advanced - 176, no band less than 169
Pearson (PTE) minimum score of 58 (no communicative skills less than 50)
