This Certificate IV in Automotive Mechanical Diagnosis covers the skills and knowledge required to perform advanced diagnostic operations in the automotive retail, service and repair environment.
You will learn how to diagnose complex faults in light vehicle petrol engines, electronic spark ignition engine management systems, braking systems and test engines using a dynamometer.

If you do not meet the entry requirements for this course, you may apply for the Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology with this course as a package offer.

A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic). A minimum TOEFL score of 530 for paper examination; 179 for computer based and 71 for internet based, or approved equivalent.
