Course Description
Do you love building design and architecture? This course prepares you for a career as a draftsperson, to design and document detailed plans for both residential and commercial buildings and structures.
You will learn construction methods and techniques, design techniques, site surveying, environmentally sustainable design principles, 2D and 3D software, graphic presentation, project management and administration, scheduling and documentation management. Throughout the course, you’ll work on a range of projects and client briefs, develop a portfolio to show potential employers and build a network of industry contacts.
Work placement/industry experience
This course offers opportunities to participate in industry field trips and an international study tour.
