Eligibility requirements

La Trobe University values academic excellence. High achieving International students thinking about applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course will be automatically be considered for this scholarship.

The La Trobe Jordan Scholarship rewards high achieving International students This scholarship is worth between 20% to 30% off the annual tuition fees for the duration of studies.

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of Jordan.
  • Be a new International students applying for 2022 intakes.
  • Be a full-fee paying student (Non-sponsored).
  • Apply to a program in the LTIS List of eligible courses.

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

  • La Trobe Jordan Academic Scholarship (WAM -55-69.9) - Amount: 20%
  • La Trobe Jordan Merit Scholarship (WAM - 70-74.9) - Amount: 25%
  • La Trobe Jordan Excellence Scholarship (WAM -75+) - Amount: 30%

Recipient obligations

Maintain a full-time enrollment and a satisfactory academic progress during the studies.

The next round of La Trobe equity and access scholarship applications will open in June 2022 for our Semester 2 offerings.

How to apply

LTIS List of eligible course.

Percentage awarded is based on the WAM and overall eligibility of the course. The scholarship will be included in the Offer Letter.

The scholarship will be reflected on the student's statement of account after the census-date once the student have accepted the offer, paid the require deposit mentioned on the offer letter and enrolled into their course.
